Tehama County Fire Station 10
Station/Company 10 (Los Molinos) serves the citizens of Tehama County and communities of Los Molinos, Vina, Gerber, Proberta, El Camino, and South Dairyville. Together, the communities’ total population is 3,334 with a geographical area of 49,932 acres. The Sacramento River runs down the center of the response area with orchards, farmland, and residential neighborhoods. The first ever Fire Station in Tehama county was located just down the road from the current Station 10. It was a small red barn that housed one engine and personnel responded from their homes. The City of Tehama was the county seat which was located just over the Sacramento River to the West. Station 10 has grown over the many years and now consists of personnel on duty at the station 24/7, 365 days a year. CAL FIRE and Tehama County Fire Department work hand in hand with the community and enjoy participating in events like the Easter Egg hunt, Tri Tip Dinner, School Education presentations, Dr. Suess readings, and giving Santa Claus a ride for the pancake breakfast. Station/Company 10 is proud to serve the citizens of Los Molinos, surrounding communities, and the citizens of Tehama County. Los Molinos company 10 was formed on April 4, 1961.
